Such a let down.

With everything.

I make my best friend feel awful,

and I can;t even help the people so close to me.

This isn;t fair.

I'm watching **** Kill herself slowly.

It's terrifying me so much.

I can;t help her.

I'm trying, I can;t. This isn't fair.

If something happens this is all my fault.

  1. You can give someone all the help and support you have, but they have to want to help themselves first. That's true for many things - mine was addiction. But it goes for all walks of life: realising a situation isn't right, or that they're not making the right choices.

It's inbuilt into us to defy what we're told. Even as kids, we get the urge to do something specifically because we're told NOT to.

But one thing you can't do is put all of another persons problems on your shoulders, no matter how close they are. You can support, advise, even admonish them, but you can't take full responsibility for their choices - You can no more control what a person thinks, feels or does than they could if it were you.
